We were honoured to be profiled in a recent Vertical Mag feature by Gerrard Cowan, looking at how Canadian Air Parts has evolved over the last 30+ years — from a traditional parts supplier into a full-spectrum aviation support partner.
The story traces CAP's journey from its founding in 1992 through the 2017 acquisition by Dave Rendle and Steve Dandridge, and into today's expanded service portfolio: parts distribution, calibration services for Chadwick-Helmuth and DSS MicroVib equipment, SystemX Aviation Ceramic coatings, consignment programs, rental kits, and 24/7 AOG support.
Long-Term Partnerships Over Transactions
A theme that runs through the feature is CAP's focus on building long-term partnerships with operators — understanding their fleets, anticipating their needs, and being there when an aircraft is on the ground. That philosophy has helped grow our customer base from fewer than 100 operators to more than 300 worldwide.
