Canadian Air Parts Ltd. (“CAP”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through canadianairparts.com, why we collect it and how we handle it, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to send us through a form on this site:
- Request a Quote and parts store quote requests: your name, company, email address, phone number, and the part, aircraft, quantity and notes you enter.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
Parts you add to the quote basket are saved only in your own browser until you submit the request. We don’t receive them before then.
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t build visitor profiles. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to answer your question, prepare and follow up on your quote, and fulfil any resulting order. We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists.
Who handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run this website:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our team’s inbox.
These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed and stored there and be subject to US law. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
The map on our contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap, and links to PartsBase PartStore, LinkedIn and Instagram take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our business, tax and aviation record-keeping obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw your consent to us using it (subject to legal or contractual limits). Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within 30 days.
